Modern Slavery Act Statement
According to the Modern Slavery Act 2015, commercial organisations that carry out all or part of their business in the United Kingdom are required to publish a transparency statement informing consumers about the efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking.
We, 1HUNDY Limited. (“1HUNDY,” “we,” or “us”), are a part of the industry that can educate consumers on how to purchase goods produced by companies that responsibly manage their supply chains. 1HUNDY is committed to ensuring ethical and fair-labour practices within our own operations and we seek and expect from our suppliers to do the same.
The structure of our organisation, business, and supply chains
1HUNDY is an online clothing and accessories retail company working with a team of more than 1,800+ professionals working in North America and Europe, with partners in Japan, Australia, and Brazil. We also contract a wide variety of various suppliers located in the US, the EU, and other countries and regions to provide us with the materials for our production.
1HUNDY policies in relation to slavery and human trafficking
When we partner with suppliers, we ask them to sign an Anti-slavery or Forced labour certificate acknowledging that the supplier as well as its subcontractors will comply with all applicable laws that prohibit slavery and human trafficking. 1HUNDY has also drafted a Supplier Code of Conduct that intends to set forth our standards and expectations with respect to key areas of corporate responsibility, including a requirement for our suppliers not to support forced labour and not to collaborate with organisations that use illegal employment practices.
Due diligence processes
Although 1HUNDY does not currently provide specialised training on slavery and human trafficking to its staff working with supply chains, we require that all employees engaged in the sourcing process comply with our policies which prohibit slavery and human trafficking within our supply chain. Within our own internal operations, a part of our initiative to mitigate the risks for slavery and human trafficking is the implementation of internal policies which include Whistleblower, Anti-bribery, and Health and Safety policies.
Future plans
Currently, 1HUNDY does not conduct independent audits or unannounced inspections to our direct suppliers. Nonetheless, we plan to establish such protocols to be implemented in the future.
Being part of the 1HUNDY brand is more than just wearing the clothing, it’s representing a mindset, making a statement of intent, committing to doing what you say you’re going to do. 1HUNDY is for those who say they are going to give it 100% and mean it and if you do this then you know in your heart you’ve given all you can give.
